Used for oral cancer screening, the Velscope can help identify potential oral mucosal diseases.

The Velscope is a blue light emitting device (not UV light) that allows us to see changes in oral tissues that are not noticeable to the naked eye. We can detect changes in tissue and cells before they become cancerous. Early intervention is the key to a higher success rate. If we can see it sooner, we can initiate treatment sooner.
