Does the thought of the dentist chair fill you with anxiety? You are not alone.  Dr. Franco Girard is licensed to administer oral sedation – the use of oral prescription medication to help you relax and calmly receive the dental care you need.

You will be given an oral sedative at the Oaklands Dental office approximately one hour prior to your scheduled procedure. We’ll make sure you are comfortable while we monitor your level of relaxation and adjust the level of medication as needed.

All sedation patients must have an escort bring them both to and from Oaklands Dental and follow specific pre- and post-operative instructions.
